CVHC currently offers three options under the rental programs. CVHC administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Lend-A-Hand Program to provide financial assistance. CVHC also owns single family homes and apartments that are rented at below area market rental rates.
A HUD/VHDA funded program that provides monthly rental assistance for applicants who qualify.

Provides emergency grant to assist with rent or mortgage payments to avoid eviction or foreclosure. Assistance with security deposit is also available. Counseling on debt management, budgeting, and other areas is provided through the Self Sufficiency Program. Applicants must apply in person and provide proof of delinquency and verification of income source. For security deposit assistance, the applicant must have been involuntarily displaced and must show lease agreement. All funds are paid directly to the landlord.
