Central Virginia Housing Coalition improves the regional quality of life by providing affordable housing to low income families through coalition, education, counseling and financial assistance.

CVHC serves individuals and families of low to moderate income. CVHC is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors, one third of whom live in low income areas or qualify as low to moderate income wage earners.

The Coalition began with an all volunteer staff and one program. Today, CVHC is fully staffed and offers many programs geared towards providing affordable housing. To see a complete catalogue of the many services CVHC provides, you can download it here.

CVHC is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that addresses housing issues in Stafford, Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg City, Caroline, King George as well as Orange, Culpeper, Fauquier and Westmoreland.
